The Miss DC USA 2013 Pageant

Jessica Frith Miss DC USA 2013
Being a former Miss DC USA contest (and semi-finalist!) we here at Pageant Professors have reserved a special place in our hearts for the Miss DC USA pageant and its reigning titleholders. This year was an especially important year for the Miss DC pageant as it ushered in the era of Five Crowns Production, the new production company for the DC USA Pageant with Carla Crawford, the new Executive Director, as the star of the show. For those of you who don’t already know the fabulous Mrs. Crawford, she is the mother of the amazing Kamie Crawford, Miss Teen USA 2010. As the mother of a former national titleholder – we knew that Carla would know how to put on an amazing pageant and boy, were we right! With well-known names like Miss USA 2010, Rima Fakiah, in the judging seat – Carla put together an event that couldn’t be beat. From start to finish, the 2013 Miss District of Columbia pageant was run like a mini-Miss USA pageant: beautifully organized and expeditiously run. Both the Miss and Teen pageants had a fantastic field of contestants but as we all know – only 2 could walk away with the crown. Jessica Frith, your new Miss District of Columbia USA 2013 and Despina Ades, Miss District of Columbia Teen USA 2013, ended up capturing the judges’ hearts and the DC USA crowns. Check out the videos below to hear from the new titleholders Jessica and Despina along with Candiace Dillard – the gorgeous first runner up!

Perianne Boring should of won ! That is really what I think.

    • Hi Courage,

Perianne is a gorgeous girl and a great competitor. I certainly think she should compete again next year. Sadly there is only one crown and so many great girls! The judges certainly had a tough decision to make this year.

She is so pretty!!! a lot of people think she should win, but not everyone does:
